Karissa The Destroyer GameStop With the launch of the Wii U’s new Super Smash Bros, GameStop wanted to make a splash by creating a stunt that would resonate with gamers and create a buzz. With GameStop’s already existing snarky attitude and the knowledge of the huge esports/Super Smash Bros fanbase, our team saw the opportunity to play a little joke on the GameStop community. As the art director for this project, I worked with a copywriter to concept ideas. After this idea was selected we quickly worked was casting agencies to recruit talent.
